Kate Middleton wasn’t born a Duchess. Her normal upbringing has made her fashion choices all the more appealing to her adoring fans from all over the world.
Most recently, she paired her Alexander McQueen blush lace dress with cubic zirconia earrings instead of diamonds. The jewelry the Royal Duchess wore at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee was apparently a fake! This is a progressive choice for a Royal, who has also been known to shop at consignment stores.
Kate Middleton, Prince William, Queen Elizabeth II and the other members of the Royal family went to Buckingham Palace in honor of the Diamond Jubilee. As expected, fashion hounds and fans of Kate were all but awaiting her arrival so they can predict the latest trends to hit the U.S. and U.K.
Everything Kate touches seems to sell really well, including her famous sapphire engagement ring.
Her hat was Jane Taylor and her clutch was from Prada, and of course, it’s now well-known that her earrings were not the real thing but flawless imitations made from cz diamonds and pearls.
For the most part, everyone was thrilled with Kate’s look. She’s able to pull off everything from McQueen to discount shoes. Her’s is a special style that really speaks to the fact that beauty and really comes from within.
Kate’s “fake earrings” look just like the real thing and her fashion choices prove that if the Duchess loves her cubic zirconia and pearl earrings, then there’s no shame in wearing something that looks just as good for half the cost!
